  • Full Loft Conversion/Extension

This project involved full removal of the roof, the construction of stairs, and working with strict planning rules. A key aspect of the project was the hidden addition space at the rear of the roof. From the street, the only visual is the Valux Sky Lights.

This project added 2 new bedrooms with the addition of a large shared ensuite bathroom.

The lovely customer is very happy with this and has enjoyed all the additional space being ready just in time for Christmas.

This extensive project encompassed a comprehensive house restoration, addressing both internal and external tasks.

Internally, the client's vision was to infuse their future Sussex home with the sophisticated charm of London Chic style. Notable features include artisanal door handles, captivating artwork, stylish lighting, and exquisite wallpapers, resulting in a luminous and personalised living space.

Our responsibilities extended to various interior enhancements, such as installing a log burner, crafting custom shelving on either side, optimising space creatively in the downstairs bathroom, and introducing unique details like a curved wall in the kitchen to add visual interest and break up blocky spaces.

Externally, our efforts focused on repointing the brickwork, reinforcing the chimney, and retiling the roof to enhance the overall structural integrity and aesthetic appeal of the property.

  • Listed Church Limitations

  • Full Roof Replacement

  • Removal of weakened structure

  • High-Quality Finish

This project presented a particularly intricate challenge, as the site involved a listed church with stringent limitations and regulations governing what could or couldn't be replaced. It was imperative to meticulously check and double-check these constraints to safeguard the integrity of the beautiful building.

Examining the images, one can observe the evident deterioration of the old roof, which had sunk, warped, and posed a potential risk to the structure.

To navigate the complexities of the renovation, we implemented a strategic approach. Internally, a false ceiling was erected, enabling the church to remain operational during construction while also conserving heat and reducing future utility bills. Subsequently, the deteriorated roof was painstakingly removed and replaced with reinforced new beams and structure, ensuring the church's longevity as a valuable asset to our local community for many more years.
